About 8 hours ago I took possession of my new bike - an '07 Suzuki SV650.
Given that my first bike was a '94 Magna and my second an '02 Shadow, of
course I expected this one to act...let's say...a little differently.
And while I can appreciate the fact that it's not the fastest bike on the
the block, all I can say is...damn the thing is nice!
Heck, I love my Shadow, it's a nice, nimble little cruiser, but after
putting about 50 miles on this new one as a first-day warm up, I must say,
this acts exactly like a motorcycle ought to act. It's faster, nimbler,
and lots more fun to ride. Definitely enough power for me right now,
plenty plenty.
If the rain holds off tomorrow I'm going to try to add another hundred
miles or so on top, but the weather doesn't look good.

impressions of other people who buy the SV650. It's nimble, it's fun.
