Riding season is almost over on the Gulf Coast! (The season starts in
October and ends in April, with the possibility of a couple of cool-enough
mornings in September and May.)

Odd I lived in Central Tejas for over a decade and
never saw a month that was unridable. I was a
daily rider for that matter. The coast is down
right comfortable year round compared to the
center, west and east. I will admit the june bugs
hurt like hell if you aren't a ATGATT kind of
rider.

History does not record anywhere at any time a
religion that has any rational basis. Religion is
a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up
to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff,
most people do have a religion and spend time and
money on it and seem to derive considerable
pleasure from fiddling with it.

We've got clear skies, +10F in the mornings and a high of about 30 during
the day. We'll be hitting the mid 30s in a few days they say.

Another couple weeks till riding time if all goes well.

Well, it rained most of yesterday and there is fresh snow this morning
so the hiatus is back on.
