1993 HONDA CR500R – Master Mechanic Owned!
Bike is in Very Good Condition.
Never Raced! Trial-Ridden Only!
I'm 47 now, I bought this bike when I was 33.
It's a blast to ride; plenty of power, controllable, good
handling, good trail bike. Lights and a heavier flywheel would
make it really great.
No time to ride, priorities change...whatever.
· New Clutch—OEM Honda parts
· New Air Filter, started only- no rides since
installation
· Renthal Bars
· Runs strong, Starts Easily
· Smooth, Soft Suspension. Great for old guys like me
· Red plastic is faded--It seems a waste for me to replace
it, since you’ll probably want to pick your own colors and update
the year.
These bikes were unchanged from ‘92 until '01 so why buy a
worn-out ’01 that some kid rode. Buy one from an old guy who only
rode in the woods
I got a quote from Team PowerSports in Garner; all the plastic is
less than $150, that includes the front and rear fenders, front
number plate, side number plates, and radiator shrouds.
I‘ve owned this bike since Feb. 1994, it has been trail-ridden
only.
I installed an O-ring chain and new sprockets in ’99 and haven’t
logged more than 6 hours on the bike since then. The O-rings are
old now but the chain is not stretched.
This Bike has been stored under-cover, or in garages all of its
life. Plastic is faded on the top, but other than that, the Bike
is in Very Good Condition.
Included with the bike are:
1. 2 pairs of MSR (Malcolm Smith Racing) riding pants—36”
waist
2. the stand you see in the pics
3. the kickstand (not shown—mounts on the RH swingarm), 24
oz. pre-mix oil
4. the factory HONDA Repair/Maintenance Manual.
