Not a ride report - but came close

I was going to take my first season local ride this weekend, but
instead got embroiled in yard and construction projects. I spent
saturday re-grading my back yard with my Kubota EAV (Ecological
Assault Vehicle), then dropped a few trees (chainsaw runs good on old
GasGas gas) then had an enormous brush fire in my backyard fire pit.

Yesterday was going to be the day to get a bike going, and a saw
several buzzing up and down the road, BUT after almost killing myself
tripping over bikes and quads trying to navigate my garage, I decided
that I HAD to get the door and windows that are cluttering up the
place out of there. So, my theoretically-someday-to-be-placed at
Jayrassic Park trailer (Jayrassic Ark) had its door and 4 windows
installed yesterday. My back hurts so bad I can barely walk. Man, I
got fat and out of shape this winter...

My son and his deliquent friends went out to the trails at the top of
my road on foot to check out the trail situation yesterday, and
evidently met up with a half-dozen dirtbikers that were out there.
That particular 140 acre parcel was recently purchased by the
neighboring town, and the disposition of the area is unknown. The
town evidently keeps an eye on it, however, as the boys ended up
coming back home riding in the back seat of a Police car. I just love
being the Dad of a teenager. No serious laws broken or anything, but
needless to say if you show up at home in the back of a Police car,
there's serious punishment involved, so don't expect to hear any "son
on the CR80" stories anytime soon. I still don't know what the
attitude of the Police were toward the dirtbikers - for some reason
that didn't come up in the ensuing conversation ;).

It is if it's posted, but I don't know if it is - haven't through
there in a couple of years.
