Happy Dirt Day

Today is the official "Earth Day" celebration but as I posted last
Sunday we shall call it "Dirt Day”. I happen to love mother earth and
do not wish to spoil the environment with waffle soled boots and
packhorses devastating the backcountry. I know my worn out knobby does
little damage and therefore should be the symbol of environmental
harmony. My two-stroke sound easily rivals Bruce Springstien's music
for both pleasure and relevance and should be broadcast on NPR radio.
So as a salute to Al Gore and all of his minions I raise my middle
finger in salute to all those folks who have misnamed "Earth Day" and
here by rename it "Dirt day".

I'm going to celebrate Mother Dirt belatedly by caressing her
gently with a fresh Bridgestone 404 in a couple of weeks, I hope.

Why is it whenever I search for a Bridgestone 404 I get 'tire not
found'?
