My Review of the 09 KLX 250
My Review of the 09 KLX 250
Stopped by the dealer today and took a test ride on an 09 KLX 250. It
had the lights and speedo and tach and such. I like the seat height
and the feel. I have been looking at similar bikes to buy, but haven't
made up my mind on which one.
Anyway, they loaned me a helmet, put on a tag and off I went. I rode
down the street about 200 yds and turned around and brought it back.
It had the awesome power of a TTR 50 with a carbon clogged FMF
pipe.That bike is the worst example of a dual sport I've seen. Hell, I
'd take a chance on the cheapies from China before I'd buy that piece
of shit.
I asked about the WR250 and the salesman told me it had a "little'
more power than the KLX. I have to believe any bike would have more
power than than this 3 toed sloth.

I think at this point any dual sport is going to be pathetically
corked up.
Fellow at work has a super-sherpa (250), it seems to honk right along
from his description.
