Eric will be there long after the Husky is parted out on Ebay. You
will do what's right. OF

What about his twin brother Max, wink wink nudge nudge...talk about payback
overkill.

Maybe, Max is also a qualified bike mechanic.

Now, seriously, that was an abberation, ok? I only get that mad when I
*know* I'm right and he refuses to listen to me. That was a big "I
Told You So!" not to mention I didn't really get a whole lot of
enjoyment from being dragged on the ground...exactly like I *knew* I
would be. Damn, I was mad! LOL!

LOL!

I was wondering if that famous little incident would be brought up.
Thanks for not disappointing me, Victor.

Actually, you would have been very proud of me. I've mellowed a little
bit in my old age.

Eh, don't fret - it's a Husky, after all. A new sidepanel can't be
more then a few hundred bucks.

Reminds me of the bastard that violently crashed my week-old CRF250
across my (very abrasive) driveway after doing stoppie that just
happened to run across a patch of sand. I hate that guy. The jerk
scuffed up my favorite leather jacket too...

Yeah, you're right. And by the time it gets here I will have saved up
enough change from cleaning out Eric's pants pockets to pay for it.
Everybody wins!

The only person that will ride my bike in the next few weeks will be
Eric. After I thrash it on my 6-day ride through Nevada in May there
will be free test rides all around.

And don't feel bad about the leather jacket. Riding leather *should*
be scuffed up a bit. Otherwise you look like a noob. My old Dainese
leathers made me look extremely experienced <G>

Naah, keep him; the guilt will make him more tractable.

You guys have it wrong. Once a brand-new bright shiny thing has been
gouged, scraped, dented or otherwise assaulted in a permanent way YOU
DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT ANY MORE. Not that I'd have the courage to
key my new car before I drove it off the lot (assuming I was crazy
enough to buy a new car), but I'd sure be of two minds about having it
repaired if somebody else did it.

When we got married my wife had a pretty new Toyota 4x4 truck. There
was something wrong with my truck one day and I had to use hers to
pull my lawn trailer. At the time she did not have a reciver hitch so
I had to pull off the bumper. I jack-knifed it and put a small dent
in the step part of the bumper... she was pretty pissed. I think she
has pretty much forgotten that by now... probably because I've done so
many other things since then. :)

Yeah, I really shouldn't complain...much. The worst thing Eric's ever
done (besides thrashing my 2 favoritest bikes) was refuse to go to see
the White Sox with me when we were in Chicago for a roadrace. It was
their last season in Comisky Park and I was told by locals to not go
alone. He wouldn't go. I've never let him forget it, of course, and
I'm sure he regrets it to this day. He's realized, as the years have
passed, how important it was to me and he knows he didn't do the right
thing. If that's the worst thing he ever does to me, well, I guess I'm
doing ok.
