Re: non bike ride report
Maybe it's just me, but I love this story. If my own dad was still
around, and if we lived on the same property, I could easily imagine a
very similar scenario playing out with us. Instead of a Delorean
though it'd probably be the late '70s Caddy that my pawpaw just had to
have. All his life he'd wanted a Cadillac but couldn't really afford
one. But around 1985 he sold his existing car and had managed to save
up a few bucks to purchase the medium-blue Caddy... pawpaw was 80
years old at the time, but he finally had his Cadillac. Dad (a
Chevrolet man) always gave him a hard time about it. But pawpaw loved
that car. He left us five years later, but dad hung onto the blue
Caddy for several more years.
