I would like to point out that, should the two, well, three I guess,
terribly insensitive events mentioned above finally drive you to leave that
lout, I'd like to point out that I come with a First Class Pit Bitch, as you
well know.
I just thought you might want to take that into consideration.

While all of you try to weasel your way to the front of the Tami line,
I'm quietly seeing an opportunity. Eric is a super nice guy, diligent
bike mechanic and a lot of fun to ride with. My wife has a couple of
single sisters and I'd be happy to put in a good word. All I'd require
is regular bike maintenance and regular access to his GasGas.

Man, I was thinking the same thing. Poor Eric.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I agree on all counts!

Oh! You have *no* idea the jealousy and conflicting feelings that
statement stirred in me! I would rather die a thousand deaths than see
Eric with another woman! Or manly RMD'er, for that matter <G> It'll
never happen in my lifetime. Never, I tell you!

Hey, that's kinda what *I'm* working on <G> I want him to get a new
one and lower his old one for me. I tried to get Baxter to lower his
old one for m...Tracy...but he won't do it for some reason. Something
about I have lots of bikes to ride, blah bah blah.

You're absolutely right, though, Craig; Eric is, for sure, the better
bet in this deal.

Tami,
I didn't think for a second you would really want to leave Eric. I
figured your posting was just a tease. Lots of guys here would like to
take you home and put you in their garage but I think you are fine
with Eric. I, for one, would be proud to shake your hand and Eric's
and perhaps just take a ride with you somewhere. OF

Cue ominous thunder and lightnening...

Seems very reasonable to me...

I don't know that I'd go quite that far... I like Eric and all, but I
still prefer a woman... with ambitions, you know? ;-)

I'm just pointing out that the competition for you is stiff and that I
saw an opportunity to use the distraction to my advantage. Kind of
like signing up for the class with the fewest riders in hopes of
sandbagging a trophy.

Oh, believe you me, I know! I might not ever leave Eric for another
man, but I sure would think long and hard should Theresa ever become
available!

Well, think the bright side. If your scuffed leather makes you look
experienced, so does a scuffed bike!

Yeah, but my scuffed up leathers were free. They used to belong to
Nick Ienatsch.

My broken bike just makes me look like a bozo <G>

But you know what? When I'm riding it my eyes are all squinty-like
from smiling ear-to-ear so I don't even see it <G>

Re: Should I Divorce Eric?

I have been biting my tongue all week on this, but, my curiosity has
got the best of me. First, I am sorry to hear about the damage to
your new scoot. Sux to get that first scratch and this one sounds
like a doozie.
Does the Husky have one of those "Euro-designed" auto-retract
side stands? The GasGas owners amond us have many bruised shins to
attest to the usless stupidity of that design.
I was just wondering if that was the cause of the mis-happ.

My GF just got a 2008 Ninja 250. It's blue, it's PERFECT, and
it is sitting in my garage with 12 other bikes. I pucker up a little
in fear I will be the one to put the first scratch/dent in her new
toy.
I had to move it out of the way twice and rode it once for about a
mile. I was a tight as a nun every time I touched it.
Enjoy your new SuMo and in a year everything will be forgotten....

"Scratch" my ass. This is broken plastic. I didn't say anything to him
about the scratches in my shiny new red plastic from him scooting
between my FZR and the Husky.

>  Does the Husky have one of those "Euro-designed" auto-retract
>  side stands?

Kinda sorta. It's nowhere near as lethal as the GasGas contraption.
The sidestand had nothing to do with it. He put his hand in the handy-
dandy little hole in the sidepanel that looks *exactly* like a
grabhandle as he hoisted it up onto the stand.
He was preparing to tear it all down and re-grease everything and make
sure everything was perfect for me ( <snicker!> Here he is busting his
ass to make sure my pretty new ride is all safe and properly set up
and everything and all I can do is complain about plastic that's gonna
break anyway as soon as I fall down on it...and it *will* happen
eventually<G>) but as it turns out, it isn't really a grab handle, as
the plastic doesn't really line up with the frame rails. All the
weight transfers to the plastic instead of the frame rail. Oh well,
just another instance of that Euro 90% thing. I'm prepared to accept
it.

> The GasGas owners amond us have many bruised shins to

Oh yes. I am very well aware of that lurking danger.

>  I was just wondering if that was the cause of the mis-happ.

Nope.

Neato!! Kawasaki did a *great* job on the update to the little
Ninjette. A good friend of mine that used to race with Eric (and my
boyfriend at the time...) and Eric and I thought about getting 3 brand
new ones and taking them to the track. No mods allowed other than
suspension set-up. It would be Duel To The Death every weekend! How
fun would that be at Sears Point? We'd probably be bored to tears at
Willow Springs (or blow the motors, whichever came first) but wouldn't
that be just the most fun thing? Hell, they're cheap enough. I could
have outfitted the whole team for what I paid for the Husky. Tell her
congratulations for me, and for heaven's sake don't scratch the damned
thing! Also, MSF is a great idea.

> It's blue, it's PERFECT, and

I have experienced the joy of selling a bike and having elbow room,
having sold my WR250F about a month ago, and I must admit that the
feeling is intoxicating. Now the FZR is going to an ex-FZR racer this
weekend. I'm starting to eye a few more bikes, too, but can't really
justify selling the 125, the Pamp *or* the 450, though. Maybe I'll
sell one of Eric's bikes instead <G>

I have a word of advice for you: Don't.

I can imagine. Eric doesn't even want to ride my SM til it gets broken
in. I have a feeling, though, that it's because he wants to treat it
like a red-headed stepchild instead of the red-headed Italian Love
Goddess that it is.
<images of Sophia and Gina come to mind...mmm!>

>  Enjoy your new SuMo and in a year everything will be forgotten....

Eric and I went hooliganizing on Saturday night. I never gave that
broken plastic one little thought. All I could think was "Damn, this
motor rocks!...I love this 6-speed gearbox...hey! That curb looks just
like a jump!...I kinda look good in red, don't I?...I wonder how much
a full Leo Vince costs?...ooh, I wish I was taller...dang, this
reminds me of when Eric and I were first dating...he sure looks good
in his Belstaff jacket...Oh boy! Speedbumps!...this shit is too fun!"

Be sure and tell your gal congrats on the new Ninja. I'm kinda
jealous, even though I know I need to draw the line somewhere.

Re: Should I Divorce Eric?

She took the MSF a couple weeks ago. Finished
2nd in her class of 24 riders. She only lost first
place because of a single "Dab" doing a figure 8
during the final test of the day.
I am proud of her in a big way. She is treating the
bike, and riding, with a ton of respect.
Soon we will be doing the twisties around the
Malibu hills and the Rock Store. Weeeee!!!!
Cheers, SloCalSpode
