But seriously, Leda, with your own well-being in mind, that thing is a
lawsuit waiting to happen. If you're going to be involved in selling
them, you should be be organized as a business that shields you from
personal liability, and also have a substantial liability insurance
policy.

And regarding your personal safety, the first time you accidentally put
a wheel off onto the shoulder and return to the pavement too quickly,
you're going to find out just how squirrelly things can get in a hurry
with the Blazer's polar moment of inertia that far outside the envelope.

If you can find a registered P.E. of the mechanical engineer persuasion
who will sign off on that thing as being safe in its current state, for
the uses you've described, I've got $100 to donate to your favorite
charity.

Aww, you are a sweet heart! How about donating to LEDA'S VAGINA FUND?
Forgive me.. I am on my third cocktail and second bowl and having a good
time. You seem sincere and I feel a good ora from your reply. I honestly do
not care about all that. I will just have David ( My lawyer slash boyfriend)
write something up that clears him "ED" from any liability. Really though.
IT WILL NOT BREAK! It is super solid! WAIT... REALLY SUPER SOLID!!!

Maybe 100kMiles later hauling a 900lb Harley it might break... But then who
hauls a Harley 100k miles?

Hugs
Leda

Looks to me like you have a mix of blues and fescues that aren't
distributed through the yard as uniformly as they could be... maybe
pounding the shit of the turf with too much nitrogen too. I'd hit it with
glyphosate and start over. Well, level out the uneven areas first. Take a
look at a turf called midnight if you don't live in an area prone to
fungus.

As for the rack, the combination of price, advertising voice, the email
address, the site and a complete lack of even a hint of a company identity
might be obstacles to achieving market leadership as well. Brighter
photos... think critical focus... LOSE THE DUDE ON THE CR... backgrounds
matter... what's the dog's name... looks like you lost a wheel weight on
the left rear of the blazer... and oil the chain.

ROFL ROFL

The hippie dude on the CR is the selling point! What hippie dude would not
want a Bike rack? LOL

Spanky is his name (
http :// www .ledamay,com /freebies/05-15-01Spanky/growth/08-31-01SpankKingCole/SpankKingCole.MPG )
What background would you like? Maybe 72 naked virgins on dirtbikes.
That is Ed's bike and chain let him oil it!
And.. Wheel weight? What's that?

LOL

Before you do ANTHING, offer us proof ( offer your CUSTOMERS
proof ) that this thing is DOT-approved, and that you have an
appropriate level of insurance to indemnify anyone who uses one and
ends up in an accident ( for any of the various related causes
mentioned here - welds breaking due to over stress, steering getting
light, etc )

Offer your customers PROOF that it has gone through appropiate
UL and DOT and independent lab safety testing and certification. Show
them the enginereing specs. PROVE that you indemnify them from any
accident that results from poor product design or manufacture, and
that you have the financial where-with-all to back it up.

Until then, you're just selling a 'garage workshop'
jerry-rigged gizmo of unknown performance qualities ( your buddy in
the funny hat sitting on one doesn't count as 'safety testing' ), and
unknown liability for the user.

Then you shouldn't advertise on your website that people can
put a Harley on it.

I don't think that qualifies as 'DOT approval and indepenent
lab testing' either.

I assume you have appropriate warning lights, signs, and
notices as required by law ? NO ?????

you sound like a lawyer... I hate insurance (in some ways), but I
agree it's not a bad idea at all in this case.

That's a limit of the tow vehicle moreso than the carrier...
If you put it on a class A motorhome, a Harley is with within reason.
I would re-design that cobbled up hitch part first though. That was a
bad idea and looks awful.

You know this is just a simple little hitch hauler. There's really not
all that much too it. They aren't trying to build a space shutttle.
And I'm sure they don't plan on going into mass production. :)
