I offered him a ride on the first day I had it. He declined,
preferring to wait til he can romp on it with wild abandon. Great...
He will definitely give me street cred when he shreds my tires to
within a hair's width of the edge <G>

He's pretty happy with his KTM. I don't think he plans on getting 17's
for it, but he hasn't ridden a big dirtbike with 17's yet so he
doesn't know how wonderful it can be. I rode a Husky 450SMR a few
years ago (I shouldn't have...that was my downfall) and could not
believe the difference 17's made. Super-quick transition from full-
lean left to right, super-stable, nice big sticky contact patch for
when you're hauling on that monster front brake..,it 's bliss.

Ugh! I can handle the thought of me sliding down the road. Been there,
done that, no harm done. But the thought of my Husky sliding down the
road is more than I can bear right at the moment. That's a good thing,
as I will be extra careful...til it gets scratched up.

Oh, man...you ain't kiddin'. The deal is whoever gets the ticket has
to pay the insurance for the next year by themselves. Considering
we've got 3 cars and 7 motorcycles insured, I think it's safe to say
that neither one of us wants to be the first to get a ticket. (Eric
just read this sentence and said "I'm running" LOL! I told him all
he's gotta do is outrun me <G>)

Oh, c'mon! She had a great time riding with me on the Suzuki! I've got
passenger pegs, too <G> She can't ride it herself unless she has her
M1 license, though <G>

I believe the term of art for this is "chicken strip" ... in its case, less
is more. :-)
