Seeking Recommendations - Caribbean All-Inclusive Resorts

Seeking Recommendations - Caribbean All-Inclusive Resorts

My wife and I are planning a tropical vacation for late March or early
April. We enjoy all-inclusive resorts to avoid the "cha-ching" sound as we
eat and drink to our hearts content.

We have vacationed before in St Thomas, Aruba and Riveria Maya. I was
thinking about Punta Cana for this years adventure. We stayed at the Riu
Palace in Riviera Maya a few years back and loved it, but I see mixed
reviews on the Riu Palace Punta Cana on Tripadvisor, com . Some friends of
mine swear by Iberostar, but their experience was in Mexico, not Punta Cana.

Any suggestions regarding your favorite Caribbean all-inclusive resort would
be greatly appreciated - either in Punta Cana or any other Caribbean island.
Our priorities are: 1) Relaxation 2) Good food 3) Drinking - swim-up
bar/beach butler service 4) Snorkelling

Thanks,

Bob D.

I think you may be able to find something on the trip that you are
planning at this site. http :// www .travelingrich.traverustravel,com
they provided some of my in-laws with a trip to Punta Canta for
$179.00
all inclusive, but I am not sure if that same deal is avail now.

Re: Seeking Recommendations - Caribbean All-Inclusive Resorts

I assume that would be $179 a day, which is unbelievably low. If it's
$179 a week, the hotel must be under reconstruction or a real dump.

Hi,

make no bones about it... I like Jamaica.

so... I'd recommend the Riu Negril... lots of good deals, I've had good
reports back on the food/drink, negril offers decent snorkeling and all
the AIs will run you out to the spots, it's on bloody bay and the beach
is nice.

Re: Seeking Recommendations - Caribbean All-Inclusive Resorts

I ended up booking a week at Dreams in Punta Cana. Decent price, direct
flights from Pittsburgh and lots of excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, com .
I'll post an update upon our return in late April.
