Danny Federici, RIP

Danny Federici, of the E Street Band, died yesterday of melanoma. He
and Vinny Lopez had a band back in Jersey and invited Bruce Springsteen
to join them. Danny played keyboards for Springsteen since then, years
before they had a recording contract. Vinnie Lopez quit and went back
to become a mortician (no shit.) so Danny is the only one of the
original band to stay with Springsteen all this time.

Good musician, good guy.

Peace, Danny.
