woo hoo! found a bike!

Drinks on me folks, I'm celebratin'!
I finally got the phone call I've been waiting for. My buddy's a salesman at
the local HD dealer and he took this bike in on trade. She's a red '92
Heritage softail with only 10k miles. Darn near perfect condition except fer
a dent in the tank (and a shitty rear tire). I got her for $7800, plus of
course tax and tags. (which included two new goodyear whitewalls, a change
of fluids, and a once over by my other buddy in the shop).
I posted a couple pics next door.
The ol' lady fell in love with her which made my life even better. I should
be able to ride her home later this week.
Anyone have a good name for her?

Congrats on the new (to you) ride, Wally! Call her "Red." Or, Old Red.

Will we see her at Roger's?

Thanks Larry, I should hit up one get together for a formal meet and greet,
i've been visiting this here establishment for years. I finally have an 8-5
with weekends off job so i really dont have a reason not to!
I have an uncle Red, that might be weird. I was thinking about "Wilma". Mrs.
Flintstone had red hair and was pretty sassy... might work.

Always liked that show. That, and Huckleberry Hound, and Yogi Bear,
and QuickDraw McGraw.

Wilma's a pretty good name for a bike.

Sounds like a good deal!

Don't be jumpin' the gun on a name.

Give it a little while to earn/choose it's name. (for it's personality
to show)
