Ignore my previous post....

Except for the have a drink on me part. Make mine a double.

Turns out the head bolt is definitely stripped down at the crankcase. :-(

I removed the but completey and took a look at the threads. They're fine so
the problem was elsewhere. I did that trick where you put something in the
nut well to give some room to tighten down the bolt itself, and it was
turning endlessly without even registering on the torque wrench. Fuckker.

I'm bummed. I just knew that sucker was stripped. No way it should have
turned that easily with a short handle wratchet if it were getting tight.

So, how to fix? I'll do some googling, but in the meantime, if someone
already knows how to do this kind of a repair, pointers would be
appreciated.

I'm, gonna break down the rear jug this afternoon. Is there something I put
in the crankcase bolt hole to (easily) fix this? I'm guessing the bolt isn't
what gets stripped, but I'll see once I get everything outta there.
