Rev Horton Heat

Rev Horton Heat

So I go over to the Verizon store in Frisco and, for the asking, I get two
tickets to see Rev. Horton Heat at the HOB in Dallas. Man I'm totally
stoked, even though I had to lie to the rep and tell him I would come back
in a year and buy his service (I feel so dirty).

Then much to my dismay I discover that the show is on May 15th. Well damn,
I'll be riding back from Myrtle Beach on that day and cannot go.

Does anybody know someone who might want these tickets?

I'm all aflutter about the tickets right now.....you can join in as
far as I'm concerned!! <efg>

It's gonna be a good night...the man is being decent, Rick loves me,
and I found 5 (clean) bucks in the pants I put on for work! lol

Not sure. Haven't made any plans. I think I have to work 12 hours on
Thursday the 8th. If I leave on the 9th it won't be at 0 dark thirty. If I
leave the 10th it will depend on if I want to hit the gym at 8 or leave
early. Then I have no idea where I'll spend night 1. Don't want to try and
go straight through. No KOA campgrounds anywhere close to where I'll be in
Ala. The KOA in Miss is only 500 miles from Dallas.... too soon to quit for
the day. Also, that would leave 650 for the second day. Not sure if I want
to do 800 miles and try to make Atlanta day 1.

To tell you the truth I don't relish the idea of passing through Miss or
Ala (or most of LA and GA).

Short story even longer. I have no idea when I'll get there. Either Sat
night or sometime Sunday is my best guestimate.

I tired to do it once straight through from Killeen but got a late
start. Fell asleep on the bike outside of Montgomery. I wouldn't
recommend it

Coming through Huntsville? Seems there are several nefarious netscum
in Huntsville that might be persuaded to put you up. Huntsville to MB
is about 550 or so.

Looking at mapquest, Huntsville is a bit north of where I might be. I just
poked Plano, TC to Huntsville, Al in Mapquest and it says it's 666 miles.
Too funny.
