Brooksville bike nite last Thursday
Well, I hope the pic's show up across the street this time!
Hi,
Brooksville is a short ride from here. Take a left outa the driveway,
at the next stop sign and another at FL 481, then a right at US 41.
Get to the first stoplight in Brooksville and go left to the Coney
Island Hot Dog Stand. It's a nice ride through the country although
the roads are awful straight!
There were about 65 bikes there. Mostly Harleys, a few wanna be's and
a Big dog V8. Usual stuff, a slow ride race, pick the balls off the
cones. Nice group. Met an old timer that had a trike kit that keeps
the drive wheel on the ground. Kinda like training wheels. Looks
pretty good and allows him to keep riding. Saw a real nice 2000 FXDS
there. Guy riding it was huge, about 6'6" and a foot wider through
the shoulders than me.
The pic is of, I forget the year...I think he said 42. It's a daily
rider, never been restored. Looks pretty good.
The lady in the background wants me to take the FYYFF sticker off the
back of my Helmut. <g> Said she's tired of lookin at it already!
Picked up a couple of patches. One about injection and bein blown.
