J & M Corp hands down. * w w w .jmcorp . com / Pricy but simply the
best. @60MPH the separation is excellent over 70, simply pump up the
vol. for absolute clarity. anything over 80 and it'll be niz if'n you
know the song. The shield will act as a backstop for the tunes, 10 -
12 hrs 0f riding and tunes are a must. the question ya atta ax
is ...what you gona use for music. MP3 nope bad vives and crapy water
"resistance" cd player uh uh same problemo.I used a sony walkman Sport
tape. their suggested mounting is OK but I made a small bungy to
secure it even further. Rain, sleet n' snow and it woiked great A PITA
to xfer from cd to 90 min tape but worth it if ya have a peak search
on your CD player. Excellent cust. serv. Price is actively protected
so it don't matter who you buy from. Give a local indy sum biz. BTW
make back up tapes and La Raza in Chi town and Disco in Miami.

The iPod Nano is solid state, no vibration issues. And waterproof
cases are available all over online.

Then I was sorta right and guessing... but, Who cares, anyway! :)

No reason to listen to any other "music" while riding.. eh?

I was so glad to get my '03 FLHTI Standard WITHOUT a radio.

Love my stereo. Love the option to turn it on or turn it off. Love to play
some of the finest bass players in the land thru that stereo. The Ox, Jack
Bruce, Phil Lesh, Berry Oakley...don't get me started.

Love my tunes. Love my stock pipes when the tunes are playing.

Same here. I enjoy having some music playing while riding. I rarely crank it
up, just load enough to hear it. And unlike those without a radio I have a
choice. I can listen to tunes, or shut it off and listen to the engine
rumbling down the road.
On the newer touring bikes we get weather radio too. It is nice to be able
to get accurate weather info when the sky gets gloomy. Saved our butts last
year from 40 MPH wind, rain, and hail that my buddy got stuck in!

Me, three. I often don't have my radio on, but when I want it, it's
just a button away. And with my Zumo 550's XM radio, I've subscribed
to the traffic/weather as well as the XM, so I got up-to-date weather
forecasts, bulletins, overlaid traffic stuff on the maps, etc., along
with commercial-free tunes.

It's a beautiful thing.

You like Tim Bogert? (Vanilla Fudge, Beck Bogert and Appice, etc.> I
don't know a a lot about music, but I know what I like. I always thought
he was innovative on the bass.
