MB Bikeweek Spring 2008 - 1st Saturday

Guinness for anyone with a thirst. I had draft Guinness served to me
in a plastic cup today. I almost cried.

Rode down last night and then back today. Hit the north end spots.
Probably do the rest later in the week.

Saw an odd side hack and posted a few pictures across the street. Also
saw a 7' tall woman. Well, close with the heels. Taller than me.

Demo rides Thursday morning. Meeting at the Springhouse restaurant
on 26th & 17 about 7:30 for breakfast. Then we get to see the new
route layout.

It's a very sedate cruise and anyone attending is welcome to join us.

Headed down tomorrow via western VA/NC route for a few days then a sharp
left to the coast. Hope to see you there.

Sorry to hear that, nothing worse than good beer in a plastic cup.

Should have given me a holler, would have joined ya. I had a good time
too. I am enjoying getting lost on all these new roads and finding my
way home again. I opted to stay away from the crowds and ride some
quiet back roads.

Going to meet Saturday morning probably at The Hard Rock. Got time to
do a demo ride at demo ride then strike off to "Sweatman's BBQ" down
between Holly Hilly and Eutawville.

Back up to the south end and Inlet Square and probably SBB original.
Then who knows.

Will finalize the details during breakfast Thursday morning before
doing the demo rides.

I wouldn't mind hooking up with y'all at Sweatmans. Either a smelly
cook or really hot BBQ? Anyway, the odds of me timing it to being at
Sweatmans when everyone else is there are probably slim. I'd rather
take some backroads down, stay away from MB, I'm not really into the
crowd scene, just not my thing.

I've got some guys that are staying at the Holiday Inn on the waterway
at the Hard Rock. Going to meet then about 9am, do one or two demo
rides and take off south for Sweatmans.

Be in and out before the crowds get up.

Have to ride 17 south to Georgetown or go back up 501 to Conway.
There's just no place to cross the river between the two. From
Georgetown to Sweatman's is all back roads.

Then back roads to Sweatmans. About 110 miles. I can meet you on the
North end and run down to Hard Rock demo rides or you could meet us
there.

Give me a call. Number's in the SENS database or just google my name
and Mullins, SC.

Obviously HD is missing the boat. Shirley they could contract with
Pelican to have a logo'd hardshell case with pick & pluck foam insert
and lint-free lining that would hold a couple of your favorite glasses
so when you were forced to visit a lesser establishment to embibe, you
could drink in the manner you're accustomed.

Bar & Shield (with and without flames) glass case, Live to Ride glass
case, Skull (you can never have too many skulls...) glass case, all
available with or without exterior leather fringe to match the
personalization you've already worked so hard to provide for your
ride.
