Todays ride

I slept in this morning, till seven, then started trying to figure out
where to ride today. I left the house about 10:30 and headed South on
Pleasant Grove Rd, took a right on Hwy 41. It's a nice road with
fairly nice scenery till you get to Brooksville. After that a portion
of it is 4 or more lanes but there was not enough traffic to interfere
with me chugin along checking out the pawn shops, car lots and gun
shops. There are lots of areas between here and the Tampa area that
are not developed so it made for a pleasant ride. I found the Uke bar
near Lux. I may have to go back there later in the day/evening
sometime. I got into the Tampa area and then when West to Business
41, took that back North to 41 then turned West on 52. I was a little
surprised that there wasn't more traffic on 52. I turned North on 19
and stopped at the Hardy's as there was a car show going on. Stopped
to chat with a gent that had a BSA, a 1970 650 Thunderbolt. Pic
across the street along with some auto pic's.

Headed North on 19 till I hit 44 and leaned right to get back to
Inverness.
It was a nice relaxed ride in the shade as the clouds kept the sun
hidden.

Shirley, drinks on me for them that wants one.

Harley, Miller and me. All from Milwaukee!

How were the love bugs? Last time I went up US 41 to Brooksville they were
really bad.

Nary a one seen. They seem to be all loved out for now.
I don't know for sure what they are, but every now and then I get hit
with what must be a hard shelled bug of some sort. First couple of
times I thought a pebble had hit the brain bucket.
