06 Deuce questions

Just bought my first Harley, 2006 Deuce. Have had sportbikes in the past and
now that I have matured it was time for a HD. Picked the Deuce for the look
and ride, also looked at the Wide Glide, it has the Stage 1 and Screamin
Eagle pipes but I want to put on the SE Heavy Breather Air Cleaner, any
comments or advice? I am also looking at changing the pipes, something a
little better looking, Long Shots maybe? Thoughts/comments.

All said and done is it worth getting one of the fuel pack or power
commander things?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated

Jasen

Read the FAQ.
Having said that.
Heavy Breather - no reason other than looks, especially at stage 1, it
won't work any better than what you now have. Save your money.
SE Pipes - depends which ones you have.
Long Shots - on a Deuce? Not better IMHO.
Fuel Pack or PCIII - not needed at stage 1. It might squeeze a couple of
extra ponies, especially if you get the heavy breather too but you
probably won't notice it. Save your money.
If you want better slip ons I would recommend the S&S.
If you want a full exhaust I would go with the V&H Big Shots which have
the "power chamber" cross over or a 2 into 1.
Personally I think shorter pipes rather than longer ones look best on
that bike.

'Scuse th' interruption, but that ain't th' original Heavy
Breather(tm). It ain't anywhere close to it. H-D recently stole that
fucking name from me. There's a few netscum in here who've been
runnin' th' real Heavy Breather(tm) for years, and you couldn't pry it
outta their dead paws.

Yer performance with their POS would be about as good as stickin' on
an empty beer can with th' ends cut off. Be just about as shiney too.

Snarl... as you were
