Spare Parts?

Spare Parts?

Well, I got my new project opened up and it's a tad more serious than
a sheared key in the oil pump(although, the key is damn sure sheared).

Before I go spend money on e-bay, does anybody have a good cam and set
of lifters for an '87 Evo laying around doing nothing?

Stock take-offs would be fine, too bad for me though, it had an EV-46
in it.

Wally , Falcon Sales (might be listed as falconglobal)) is who I got
lifters from on ebay . Right around fifty bucks a set, and they look pretty
good to me . Check the inboard bearing ...
Is the oil pump alright ?

Heh, the bike has adjustable push rods, the Andrews cam and a
Torrington inner bearing. I suppose they chose to just re-use the
bearings. It sheard the key at the drive gear and I'm having a hell
of a time getting the shaft out without fuckin' it all up, but I'm
patient and will perservere. The rest of the pump looks good, but
I'll check it over*real*good before I put it back together.

Gonna put that 302 in that green Ford p/u this weekend and see if I
can't get it running well enough to clear it outa the yard and make a
little cash.

I'll look for the original cam that came in my old '88 FLHS - I seem to
remember it came with the bike in a box. Give me a day or so...

Still have it. I seem to remember that the original was replaced by an
Andrews EV13 and the original went in the Andrews box. If you want it -
let me know.

I have a set of lifters off a 94 Wide Glide. They have 60,000 miles on them
but look and sounded good. I don't remember any play in the axles. If you
want em , let me know.

Yessir, they'll work just fine. My contact info is in the SENS

If you really get in a bind I'm sure Katie would loan you her
honda scooter. I does really good on gravel roads, but you
and Lynn might look a little sill on it......................@ 25 mph.

Hell, Pete already offered me the Sporty for a while. That'd probably
be more like it.
