i have several old zip drives laying around here. including a couple of zip
100's that run on scuzy, one parallel and a 250 that is usb1.1 if i remember
correctly. in thier day they were the bomb. but with the advent of cd then
dvd burners they went the way of the dinasaur. my actual favorite back up
from the day were the syquest drives. they actually used a removeable
platter like hard drives use.
i am keeping a lot of my old computer stuff for some reason. i still have
my old tandy trs 80, commodore, ibm xt, 186, 286 and so forth. eventually i
may build my own museum in an effort to justify a lifetime of being a
packrat.
i have been out of the loop/newsgroup for a while. i guess i owe ya'll a
ride/trip report for a 10 day oddessy but i gotta get caught up on work
first.
