What... no 208 MotoGP predictions?

No wonder. The preseason tests have been all over the frigging place and
left us all with our heads spinning.

Some new blood's come along that seems seriously fast on occasion.

Some veterans have countered that with a methodical approach to consistent,
fast times on race setups.

All in all, though, I have to say it looks like Stoner has looked damn fast
whenever he chose to be so, and consistent when he worked on it. He seems
the man to beat. By a mile. And unless a few things happen to shake Stoner's
confidence (and it will take more than one freak incident), the safe bet is
that everybody else will have their work cut out for them. Inclduing Rossi,
who seems to be struggling for consistency on the new setup...

I predict Stoner up front. With clear supremacy on several occasions.

Rossi having a very irregular season with a surprising, self-induced amount
of DNFs.

The Hayden and Pedrosa Hondas a tad behind Stoner based on consistency,
albeit never quite clearly and dominantly up front.

Some of the new blood scoring higher than expected with consistency.

A pretty unpredictable season... I wish for surprises!!!

As a Ducati fan I'll be happy with Stoner or Melandri up front. Not too
sure about anything else though.

Just waiting on Hayden announcing he's going to carry #15 this year
since Honda now have this "tradition" of wearing the number where you
finished in the championship a la Pedrosa change.

I do think that Toseland will surprise a lot of people.

I predict that, even two years later, guig still can't seem to get
past his bitterness over the undeserving 2006 MotoGP champion.

Let it go, dude.

It's never too late to poke fun at Hayden.

OK, here's mine:

1. Stoner
2. Rossi
3. Pedrosa
4. Toseland
5. Lorenzo
6. Hopkins

My picks for Toseland and Hopkins are more heart than head, but
otherwise I don't think I'm going to be a million miles out. I'd like
to see Rossi win it one last time, but I don't think the switch to
Bridgestones is going to play out for him. Michelin are going to be
much stronger this year.

Sounds like last year! Maybe I'm reading my tea leaves differently but
testing to me looks like a Stoner runaway. And teammate Marco cannot even
understand how Stoner can ride the thing.
