When DMG's offer said everything I heard the bidding process was pretty
much over and the "Dinger" kind of said as much too. They wash their
hands of everything without the worry that Hill-climb's, SuperMoto,
ATV's, or for that matter, Dirt Track gets left to twist in the wind,
definitely a win, win deal for the AMA and I think for ALL of us too..

There's a certain amount of blood letting with any takeover/buyout and
we both know that'll happen in this case as well, but you're right,
there were some very competent nuts and bolts folks and I imagine
Edmundson not only knows that, but knows who too..

I think that statement was more a vision of the direction they want, it
damn sure didn't get that way in NASCAR overnight and it's not gonna
happen with bikes either, but in a few years, or so it might..

I don't like monopoly's, hell, who does? But anyone who really loves
'Merkan 2 wheeled racing as a sport knows it needs to grow to survive
and there's little doubt these are the best folks ever to make that
happen and given what we've had to endure for sooo long, why anyone
would lament their arrival is beyond me. That it looks like they're
going to control most, if not all of it bodes well too, at least at
this particular point in time..

Hey, I'm down in Florida and if it wasn't for the Speedweek GNS's and
Hotshoe's we'd have Zip-track, so, I know where you commin' from!

Could be, but I'd imagine by Labor Day for sure...
