WSB Monza - Michael Beck?

It was nice having Randy Mamola doing the announcing on the WSB races
last weekend. He did a good job. But who is the American rider they
talked about... Michael Beck? I don't have any recollection of his
name in any AMA races. He started last on the grid but actually
scored a point in race 2. Not bad for a so-called AMA transplant that
I've never heard of.

Mamola is excellent. He is just as good in Spanish. He has been on Spanish
TV and writing for Spanish magazines ever since he retired from active
racing. His bike reviews for Motociclismo are fantastic, the guy truly knows
how to understand and feel bikes, it is obvious he has passion and an
incredible ability to get into the "philosophy" and personality of the bike
to get the most out of it.
