The Official MotoGP Website is Shite

Just wanted to vent. I didn't think it was possible for the MotoGP
website to get any worse, but with their revamped site they've managed
it. On Friday I tried to see the results of the practice sessions.
There seemed to be no way to get the results for the first MotoGP free
practise session. Both the web site and the link to the PDF results
only had the second free practise session results. Even worse, the 250
and 125 links gave the race results from China.

Today at least I can see some results for the 250s and 125s, but again
for all 3 classes all I can see is the last practise session. Sigh. At
least they've reduced the ridiculous overuse of flash that the old
site had.

And while I'm moaning, the web site prices for race tickets are well
out of order. The prices quoted for Barcelona tickets were numerically
the same in pounds sterling as other outlets were quoting for euros. I
know the pounds falling relative to the euro, but they're not at
parity yet!

Cheers,

So are you going to Barcelona? Two of us are doing the big trip, getting
a wed morning chunnel.

Yes I'll be there. I've been to the Catalunya race frequently other
the years, as I've got a mate who lives a few clicks from the track.
It certainly puts Donington in the shade. Unfortunately due to time
constraints I'll be flying rather than riding. Make sure you use the
old roads over the Pyrenees and not the modern tunnel.

Right, I've found out where they've been hiding the results from the
other sessions. You have to select the "FRA" link under the "Global
2008 results by event:" heading. Not obvious, in my opinion.
