Honda '03 VLX risers

I am going to replace the stock risers on my wife's 2003 VLX. I bought a
pair of Aeromach 4 inch pullbacks as they were advertised as a fit for this
bike. After reading some reviews on them it seemed like I might have to
reroute the clutch cable, no prob. Well, I received them and after a quick
look around I can see that in addition to the clutch cable, the front brake
line will need to be lengthened. Funny that no one mentioned that in the
reviews. Has anyone here installed 4 inch pullbacks on this bike? Same
problem?
