Air hammer

Why can't you get a hammer head for an air hammer. All I can find is
chisels and more chisels, no hammers. I want to drive roll pins and
drive nails. Why do they call it an air 'hammer' if you can't hammer
with it?

A jack hammer is called a "pneumatic hammer".

Small pneumatic hammers are used for demolition because they can be easily
held in a horizontal position.

Sounds like a rivet gun might do what you want. It doesn't hit as hard as a
pneumatic hammer.

The hammer is inside the tool, it pounds on the chisel at a rapid rate.
