Going For The Gold With Nikon!!

It looks like Nikon is now king of the hill for sports shooters. After many
embarrassing moment and missed opportunities at the sidelines, Canon
shooters are finally throwing in the towel with disgust because of poor
image quality, focusing issues, and substandard flash system. They have
chosen the D3 for all their must have money shots.

Are you a *complete* idiot, or what?!?

If that crap that "Rita" posts is indicative of Nikon 'quality', then, if
anyone, it would appear that CANON would be the funder.

Just like your politics, you have you head up your ass, Fish-breath.

Can't anyone be nice anymore?

If you don't have anything nice/positive to say then just keep it to
yourself.

Easy eh!

Don't be so modest. You're still a far bigger idiot, as you prove
with nearly every post.

Yep. I guess so. One that thinks a camera manufacturer would provide revenue
to an amateur snap shooter posting mediocre crap on Usenet is obviously an
intellectual giant. You bet!

What a maroon...

Targeted audience! You must have missed the gem Nikon bought from me, and
it was from a Usenet Stimulus Project snapshot. And they are even
sending me one of them new fangled VR lenses with nanites in it. So,
stimulating idiots does pay off!

What does that mean? It makes no sense whatsoever.
Grammar at it's worst.

You expect "it" to make sense?

No way. It's like trying to explain simian shit slinging.

Doncha just love a guy who posts to criticize someone else's grammar
and makes a basic grammatical error in the post?

Absolutely! That's a sign that person has lost any self worth and
ammunition to support their fading point. In other words, they are an idiot
that is a prime candidate for being stimulated and remolded into a
contributing member of Usenet. That's why the Usenet Stimulus Project is so
successful, idiots are a perpetual and renewable resource.

Do most pros use a flash system for sideline shooting? All the ones I've
talked with use high ISO and/or Pocket Wizards.

You don't realize that all those high-power strobe setups above the nets in
the NBA playoffs are dozens of Nikon SB600s strung in series?

Just where have you been?

'Rita' knows it all!

Not the ones shooting with a D3. Only the faux pros and wannabes thinking
they are shooting "high-ISO" with antiquated Mk IIIs need antiquated Pocket
Wizards. The real sports shooter uses a D3 and skips the flash system all
together because the high ISO performance is killer and flash is not needed.
Granted they might use their Elinchrom Skyports at a 1/4 mile distance from
the subject when the light is a bit difficult. Pocket Wizards are on their
way out.

OK, so D3 users don't use their flash systems during sport shooting. And
Mk III users and other users don't use their flash systems during sport
shooting. Yet you're citing the substandard flash system as a liability.

The rest of the discussion is Pocket Wizard vs. Elinchrom for add-on
strobe systems, which is unimportant to your original point.
