[photo] Rockin' Robin

Little fella woke me up every morning while staying at a cottage
in southern England. Great tunes.

Lovin' that Canon 100-400 lens.

Very nice Troy, the way I am in the morning, he may or may not have gotten
a shoe in the head lol. (j/k to the animal lovers)

How is the focus on the 100-400? I have had a couple of shooters tell me
that they were not overly happy with it. Though they were shooting high
speed sport with it.

Oh, I hear ya there. Particularly after a night out...

Focus was good I thought. Pretty fast. Mind you I only used it
on fairly stationary birds/animals so far. Not used to that sort
of focal length so need more practise, but that's me not the
lens. I'm loving it though.

The English Robin is a wonderful bird. I have had them land
on a branch two feet away and sing, they'll sit and sing forever.
Waking to the morning chorus in Surrey ... there is nothing
close in America.
