A great shot of both feathered friends. The duckling is an excelent
portrait of youth. The detail is supurb and rich. I can almost feel
the softness of the down. The catch light in the eye brings life to
the image. The background is soft enough to not distract, yet tells
the viewer that the duckling is next to water.

The Martin house hunters. Great shot. Very sharp and it almost feels a
bit to sharp. The colors are vibrant and clean. The specular hight
light in the eyes, like with the duckling, give lift to the image. The
detail of the surface of the gourd is amazing. Is it agourd or
something else completely differant?

Did you use a flash on either? or a reflector? Tough time of day to
get the shot. High direct sunlight. But very well done.

Keep at it Bret.

I used a 580EX mounted on camera. My tripod was the window frame of
my Nissan Altima.

What's with all the stop signs in the background? I hope you Photoshopped
them in? Them 8-bladed lenses really make for some shitty bokeh. I'm
telling ya, get some Nikkors since they use 9-blades and you get perfect
bokeh every time.

Nice subjects, but as usual it is highly cropped and very over processed.

After all the crap that lady has endured? I don't know if she will
ever reapear on these groups again. I hope not. She brought a breath
of freshness to this group. Her imagery is supurb and makes the viewer
take notice of the message of the image. If she taught classes in B&W
I might just take a couple from her.

Are you suggesting that I and Helen are no more than reflections of
Bret? I do believe that if anyone should be checking their mirrors is
you. Even though we three do have a friendship and agree on a lot of
photography, we are very, very different. We allow for those
differences, which more than I can say for several folk on this and
other News Groups.

Besides, being polite has never harmed anyone and has brought
several folk together.

ROFL

But I will never be able to be as sweet as Ms Helen. She is one in a
million. May she continue to shoot and share and offer her unique
views to the world.

I've turned over a new leaf. I'm an insurrectionist. I throw caution
to the wind and live each day as if it were my last.
