Trip insurance reason

Trip insurance reason

Those of you who have followed the exploits of the Ullman Family
during our recent cruise on the Jewel OTS, you will remember that our
trip started out with a bang (or maybe a boom.. of thunder) that
resulted in our flight being cancelled, our attempt to get to Wicked
foiled, and an extra limo ride to the rescheduled event. Talked to the
insurance company today and we will be reimbursed in full for tickets
and the first day of pre-paid hotel accomodations. They also asked for
documentation on the extra limo ride, which hadn't occurred to us to ask
about.
Another indication of the usefulness of trip insurance.

Kurt, who did you get your trip insurance with? Sorry if you already
answered that in a previous post but I'm starting to plan a cruise so back
at this newgroup after a long lapse.

I don't recall the name and my wife isn't around now and I am
hesitant to go rooting through her deck. It was the one owned by AIG.

Oh, please stay out of her stacks of papers!! We know exactly where
everything is. :)
I just asked because your recovery went so smooth. We always buy travel
insurance.

Cheryl

You best bet is to go to insuremytrip, com and compare the different
insurance companies and their prices. You can then purchase it through
the website, which is what we do, or call the company to purchase the
insurance.
