Armed Forces Foundation and Norwegian Cruise Line Partner to Provide a
7-Day Cruise Getaway to a Wounded Warrior
Complimentary Cruise to Include VIP Treatment for Service Member and
Spouse
WASHINGTON
In recognition of the tremendous sacrifices made by our military
community, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) have donated a 7-day cruise to
the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF) to be raffled off to a military
family.
Patricia Driscoll, President of the Armed Forces Foundation, said she
feels the cruise will be an excellent form of therapeutic
rehabilitation for an injured Service Member and spouse. “These
families have been through so much in terms of being separated,
dealing injuries, and for some the rehabilitation process. We are
proud to partner with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) to provide such a
well-deserved week of recreation and relaxation.”
The recipient of the donated 7-day cruise for two will enjoy an
ocean-view cabin and VIP treatment for the duration of the cruise. The
lucky family will have the opportunity to choose from an array of
7-day itineraries including Caribbean, Bermuda, Bahamas, Canada/New
England, Alaska, Hawaii and Mexican Riviera. NCL has the youngest
fleet in the industry, providing guests the opportunity to enjoy the
flexibility of Freestyle Cruising on the newest, most contemporary
ships at sea.
