All-In-One/Multi-Function Printer that scans 120 film?

Hi,
I'm looking for a scanner/printer that do negatives. I have found the
Canon Pixma MP970, but I don't think it can do medium format film, not
having much luck with any of the sales guys.... may just end up buying
a Canoscan 8800F?

Thanks for your help,
Marcus

Multifunctions rarely will do 120 and often produce minmal quality. I would
look at an Epson V500 or V7xx

I agree and have the V750 it does a good job with 120 and LF
slides/negatives.

Just for the record I have an Epson V700. I use it for 35mm slide
scans and have it at the ready for when I get a medium format camera
very soon.
It is brilliant and once I bought the better software which comes with
the 750 I was able to batch scan 24 slides (in a film strip of 6 each)
or 12 in their separate sleeves at a time.
That is a blessing in scanning trust me.

The scanners in this area (Epson V700, V750, Canon 8800F) are so much
closer to the traditional film scanners like the Nikon Film dedicated
film scanners.
Anything you buy in the multifunction range will fall short in my
opinion in the long run. That way you can update you printer down the
track separately without having to upgrade the scanner too. A good
scanner won't need upgrading as often as printer which usually wear
out/ date much faster.

ok thats my 2 cents worth
