Camera Bean Bag Supports

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a portable camera bean bag support that takes the
place of a tripod in a pinch? I'd like to use it with an SLR.

Take any cloth or leather bag, fill it less than full with some sort of
pellets (or even dried beans) less than perhaps 1/4" diameter, and fasten it
short.
In a pinch, even a throw pillow will work. You just need something that will
conform to the shape of the support surface on the bottom and to the shape
of the camera on top.
