Baggage handlers strike

on Friday at Schiphol. Strikers will hand out free toothbrushes just in case you
never see the one in your luggage again.

Hi,

even dutch strikers are nice.

what's the significance of toothbrushes in regards to the strike?

I think the implication is that your luggage may be "kidnapped" due to
the strike - they didn't want travelers to be without at least a
toothbrush. ;-)

She doesn't have any teeth left. What good would a toothbrush do for
her?

A sense of humor I guess.

We all know they'll be off strike in a few days after they've made their
position known.

in the US until recently the TSA (Totally useless Security Assholes)
would take your lighters out of your checked luggage... and you couldn't
carry them on the plane either... on a trip to jamaica you'd buy a red
stripe, some local smoke, papers/pipe, and a lighter at your first stop.

Maybe more to do with Schiphol losing more luggage than any other airport most
years?
