I am posting this for my friend.

Cardiology Practice Needs MT

Desperately seeking MT to take over account consisting of two dictating
providers including an MD and an NP. Average lines per day approximately
600-800. It's a new practice which just opened in February. They do not
require 24-hour TAT, but occasionally need stat or priority dictation
done (2-3 times per week on average). They are using Sony digital
recorders right now, and you would need software to convert .dvf to .wav
format. Work is emailed to and from office/MT, encrypted. I am using MS
Word for their account.
This may or may not be a temporary account. They are possibly going to
EMR, but when....?

PS: I should clarify this will be a direct IC position for the practice,
not subcontracting to another MT. They are apparently desperate. She
can't continue to do the work personally due to her other work load. The
practice is located in Cortland, NY

Well, FWIW - it might be pretty lucrative because they cut and copy
lots of stuff from prior reports and you get paid for it all. I wanted
to help, but I just am not into pulling in stuff from old reports I
didn't type for compatibilty (software) and style issues.

Even if those were able to be worked around, I'd be more looking for
something not going to EMR shortly. Of course, they apparently said
they'd be at EMR by now several months ago.

I just emailed her. I LOVE cardiology and am almost done with my backlog
for my current cardiologist so I can take on some more!

Hey Rae...do you know if she got any help yet? As you know, I just found my
way
back to this site, and see this. Cardio is pretty much ALL I do and have
for years. sounds like it's pretty
much the same set up I have. Any idea re pay? or I'll email her directly
if she's still looking?
Don't want to bombard her if she already filled it, but I have been planning
for some time on getting
some of my own accounts, so it might be great.

Hey Yvonne...keep in touch with me. Plans are for us to get a new group
and if it comes about, might well need help. Likewise, keep me in mind if
YOU get a new group. This is pretty much the way I work now, as in
transferring files via 'Net...do NOT work on "a platform." I get files, do
the work, then send back.
