Can you give me the information on that guy near you that sells
computers on ebay? DH "opened the door" by mentioning he saw some on
sale at Staples, and did I want a new one for my birthday. I saw some at
Dell that you can still get with Windows XP, but wonder what he might
have. I absolutely want to avoid Vista at all costs.

There a gazillion of good deals on laptops and pc's all over the Internet.

Actually, the very best deal is to buy one locally on black Friday after
Thanksgiving.

Last year we bought a *very* nice Compaq laptop for Terri for $350 including
a printer from Best Buy.

Yeah you have to get up early and stand in line in the cold, but she doesn't
mind:).
