Are you in love?

Re: Blupencl

LOL. Just saw this - I have a choice of either (1) staying away from
here or (2) trying to sit with both hands under me arse all day to keep
from replying to political posts.

No. I am NOT in love. He is gone, gone, gone. For the second time. What
he turned out to be was a harmless-looking evil, cheating liar. And a
dumbass at that.

I shouldn't speak ill of him. I do feel really sorry for him: He is
everything your mother warned you about, all rolled into one: Money
problems, lying problems, drinking problems, gambling problems. ANd no,
I am not kidding.

Thank heavens I have the ability to laugh at my own dumbarsed self. I
have done a lot of it over the last six months.

Now I'm looking for the man who really IS what this one claimed to be.
I would be in love then. :)

I'm sure sorry to hear that, Becky. I AM glad you got out from under his
baggage, though! Hugs to you.

You forgot the part about his being a "clean freak" <g>.

Good for you on giving him the boot!

But I think that, even though the outcome wasn't what you had in
mind, it was still a good experience for you. Hang in there.

As I recall, he wasn't just a clean freak himself, he tried to make
Becky clean, too. As far as I was concerned, he was history right
then and there. LOL

That would certainly do it for me. I don't think there's a man
on this earth who could make me want to clean window tracks with
a toothbrush!

Unfortunately, the more someone tells this stubborn Norwegian what to do the
more concrete her feet become. Still, we've managed 38 years. And he's a
stubborn Bohunk (roots from Austria) and we have the most wonderful easy
going kid -- perhaps a tad stubborn in his own way, though, come to think of
it. I remember laughing at my folks. (mom the stubborn Norwegian -- dad
very stubborn) and saying we girls didn't have a prayer! :)

Funny thing is, Karen. He never was actually a clean freak. He was
TRYING to be a clean freak. He was nothing like he claimed to be. Really
sad. I never told him a lie and he never told me the truth. :(

Now, there's something I never thought I'd hear of anyone trying to fake!!!

Good on you for finding the good to come from this. That's something that's
so hard for me to do, but I believe it's what makes us stronger.

ROFL! Now, that IS funny!

At least you didn't have to spend years on him to find out he
wasn't going to turn into your prince. Look at it this way:
That's one less toad you'll have to kiss to get to the good'un
<g>.
