Re: Warning (for Gisele) Contains anti-liberal material

I have a friend in Alabama and in the ritzy area she lives it most certainly
still is. In doctor's offices where she used to work, it most certainly did.

I don't think "he" is racist, or at least I cannot even venture a
guess about that, and I assume he wouldn't be due to his heritage, but
I was more referring to what his pastor was spewing as he sits
listening. Before becoming a candidate, he still sat there as a
senator, no? What about the "you are the company you keep" "lay with
dogs--flees", etc.? lol. I didn't think what I went through was
horrible, scary, but it has offered me food for thought on many
occasions as I think back on it when I hear people refer solely to
white discrimination against blacks in the general sense because that
has not been MY experience.

Just this March on the way back from Florida - we stopped in Georgia
at a Taco Bell and I took Claire in to use the bathroom. I walked up
and stood in back of the line section to view the menu while she went.
Just me and 2 black workers. The one gal leaning on the drive-thru
register with her chin in her hand turned around and looked at me. I
said "Hi. Hope you don't mind that I'm looking in here at your menu
for a sec..." and she gave me a dirty-ass look, no hello back, not
even a hint of a customer-service smile. Sheesh, I can't imagine
keeping your job if you treat everyone like that, but it could have
been just that, so I can't even say it was because I was white, so I
don't say that it was. lol.

What bothers me most about Wright is that he is supposed to be a
minister. I know of no ministers who preach the hate that he does. He
should be ashamed.

She was denied because the store was closed and she wanted to shop after
hours.

They said they were prepping for some sort of event they had coming up
and they apologized to her for the overzealous employee that kept her
out or something like that - she had the CEO on her show and all was
well and cleared up.

Please provide specific examples of current or even recent government
endorsed signs that say "No Coloreds". Once again, you're blowing BS
out your ass.

I did not mean to imply it was done recently -- jesus you can be a bitchy
pain in the ass. You know damn well, I meant from the 50s and when it was
done. No wonder this country has gone to hell with this kind of passive
aggressive CRAP-OLA!

No need for any implication that I can see - your statement is
unequivocal: "...denied entrances to bathrooms, and restaurants and
stores and in some places still are." What else could "and in some
places still are" mean? How could "and in some places still are" mean
from the 50s? Pshaw!

I believe she was referring to the "gov't endorsed no colored sign" to
being recent.
