They surely are a wonderful gift!! I arrived in the Bay Area just in
time to be greeted by a ~~~~heatwave~~~~ ... not exactly what a *very
pregnant* (overdue) woman wishes for :-(

Strad will be 13 in September. His voice has changed and he is beginning to
get mustache fuzz.

We just bought him an Optimist boat and have him enrolled in regatta racing
for the summer.
