Blur Interpretation?

Blur Interpretation?

Seeing as 'blur interpretation' is a common argument used to refute
possible recoveries, I thought it would be good to raise the matter in
this new thread, because it's getting on my nerves a little.

First off, what do the naysayers mean exactly when they say 'blur
interpretation'. How does it work? And how does it have anything to do
with eyesight?

And there seems to be a lot of confusion regarding Dr.Bates' own
method of curing imperfect sight with the use of snellen test cards.
The nonsense which Otis frequently blabbers on about does nothing to
help the confusion.

So I'll try and address the main points and get this thing clear once
and for all.

First off: Otis. He doesn't have a clue half of the time what he's
talking about. So it's best to ignore his messages. And plus, he's a
robot. See my thread 'Otis - the robot'. Robots are not trustworthy
sources of information!

Second, Bates view regarding memory.

Bates says that memory is very closely allied to the vision. He found
this in his highly significant observations that when one becomes able
to remember an object or colour, equally well as he does with the eyes
closed as with the eyes open, for any length of time one wills, then
the sight is always found to

I think most of us can relate to THAT feeling.

It's been explained before on s.m.v. Go find it.

I'm starting to wonder whether you're (clinically) bipolar, and with
more than a hint of narcissistic personality/sociopathic disorder
mixed in.

If you are NOT being treated by a mental health professional (and that
would be a shame), you should consider it.

What you may not recognize is just how much you and Otis have in
common, and that couldn't be less of a compliment if I tried.

Seriously.

Re: Blur Interpretation?

Dear Neil,

Please will you explain to me, very simply, what is 'blur
interpretation'? Give it to me in under 20 words.

I know that you are the expert on it.
