contact lens questions

1) Could u guys suggest brands of contact lens that i could wear
comfortably for 2 or 3 days without soaking it? (Other than Night&Day
and PureVision and Acuvue Oasys)

2) is it important to get "compatible" cleaning solutions?

Much appreciated!!

There are no lenses that will not need disinfection between wearings.
If you are looking for a lens that you can wear for 3 days and nights
without removal, then the three brands you mentioned are the ones.

You will need to have a contact lens fitting and follow up with a
contact lens fitter. Whether or not the lenses are comfortable for 3
days non stop wear depends much more on your eyes and tear quality
than on the particular lens.

You might try Biofinity, a new lens on the market. It might not be rated by
the FDA for overnight wear yet, but it's a 30-day lens elsewhere.

Any soft lens is fine with any solution designed for soft lenses. If you find
one or another bothers your eyes, of course, you should switch.

I've had 3 different eye doctors and they
all said to stay consistent with the brand of your contact lens
cleaner.

For this stuff its not worth going cheap - you only get 2 eyes and
they are VERY expensive to fix!
